Laser versus Electrolysis

So, I'm looking around trying to get all the information I can, and I learned there are a lot of risks when it comes to scarring for laser hair removal.  I'm trying to figure out what is the best choice for me.

A little background ... I have no body hair naturally.

My chest had (I haven't seen them for a year now) 2 hairs on it.  I plucked them repeatedly and they are now gone.
My arms have very light (blond) hair on them barely an eighth of an inch long.
My facial hair is restricted entirely to the corners of my mouth, chin, and under my chin.  I haven't shaved in almost 6 months and only have the odd hair on my cheeks, and even that is only about half an inch.

So, my question is, with so little natural body hair, what would be the best option for me?

It depends, classic electrolysis is just(or even more dangerous) than laser.  If your skin tone is pale or white laser might actually be safer.

Thermolysis(a form of electrolysis) that uses heat is relatively safe. But takes a bit longer!  Any damage done by thermolysis is temporary(scabbing, redness ect ect) no pitting.

Laser doesn't work for everyone, electrolysis(and its subs) does.  Laser is permanent reduction, not full removal, but if you have the money might be a great first step to removing facial hairs.

Given the amount of hairs that you have I would suggest electrolysis, it will be extremely quick.  You will have all of those facial hairs moved probably in one session, as well as your two dinky chest hairs.  You might have to go back once or twice but I doubt there is even 30 minutes of work there.  As for the blonde hairs you should just shave them O-o or leave them they are really not noticeable!

If you can count the number of hairs on your body, then electrolysis is the way to go.

Y'know. If you think you REALLY can't pluck them.

Thanks for all the advice ... my chin grows in pretty standard, so plucking isn't really an option ... that's really the only area I was thinking about getting done.  I have less arm hair than my SO, a fact to which she is already jealous, so that's a non-issue.  Really it's just the chin - I feel very fortunate for that.

 Show-off.

If the hairs are black and coarse, and you're pale, then laser should be fine if you can't count the hairs. If your hair is light/thin... perhaps you should just stick to electrolysis.

*blushes* >.<

I didn't intend to make anyone feel bad ... I have so many other things I have to work on really hard that I'm glad to have one easy area!

My SO has the dark hair/fair skin Italian whammy ... luckily I'm Norwegian - have the blonde hair and easy tans.

I definitely think I'll stick to electrolysis - especially since there are some well reviewed (and sympathetic) places here in Dallas for it.

Wow, an other Norwegian :) And I thought I was alone here.

Dallas is good for electrolysis I've heard.

There's apparently a few places in the city that cater to us, which is really fabulous!  I'm really hoping that it doesn't take too many visits.  As an aside, I've been seeing a bunch of advertisements for a home thermal solution called "No! No!" - has anyone used it?
