I was wondering what all of your thoughts are on moving to remote work while I'm trying to get a handle on my GID.  It's actually something that my company is trying to get more people to participate in, so it would probably be easy to do, but I think there's also some value in being forced to face the "work world" daily. Moving to remote work would definitely calm a lot of anxiety I have about potentially transitioning and it would be a big help to saving money (I currently commute 1-1.5 hrs each way on public transit, which is another whole thing I'm scared of doing while I transition), but I'm just kind of flying blind with all of this.  I've discussed it a little bit with my therapist, but she doesn't want to push me one way or the other.

I think this is great. I have been doing a little of distance work, and oh, how much of a help it is. I can work without any pressure other than the actual work. Putting aside the fact that I'm really bad at job interviews, I don't think I would be able to work as male, primarily because being seen as male is very depressing to me, but also because I'm less and less credible as male (I wasn't that much to begin with, so)...

The in-between stage, i.e. from when you begin having noticeable breasts before full-time to the first months or one year after full-time... It's a painful stage. If i could get away from part of it by doing distance things, it would be a great help. After a bit of being full-time when you're somewhat confident with your passing, of course, you'll need to "immerge" yourself... But who said you had to go through the painful in-between stage? It doesn't serve much of a purpose, does it? If you can go around it, then why not take that chance?
