I am so sorry about your situation Angelique. Why is your dad refusing HRT? Does he realize that as soon as you turn 18 you'll go out and get those hormones faster than...well I don't know just really fast.  I mean, you are already living full-time. They know that this is not a phase by now so what's the hold up?
he tells me that i cant do anything that he dont want me to do till im 18 which is in like 6 weeks or so maybe a little less im taking a guess but my birthday is july 26 but i already know why he is waiting till then cause ill be 18 and once i get hormones he can kick me out on the street. Im seeing  a tharapist tho, ive been to bout 6 or 7 appointments but im not exactly going full time, my dad only allows me to dress in girls clothing when im not around him which is wen im hanging out with my friends or wen i go to the store with my mom. Hes embarrassed of how i am and he threatens to kick me out everyday.

That's horrible. Are your mother and father together? Even if he did try to kick you out though I think you should apply to a public four year in your state that allows you to live on campus. That way you would have way more freedom. That means getting good grades for scholarships and what not.

Do you have any sympathetic relatives that would allow you to stay with them to finish your last year?

+ I know it may be hard as a trans person to get a job but I think you should try if you have not already. Making money would help make you  more independent. After I graduated HS I took a semester off to just work a full-time and part-time  job. Yeah my butt went running to college in the spring but I saved up a lot of money for hormones, electrolysis, and I was part of the breadwinners team. You can do it, your only a few months older than me but you have to apply yourself.

Take that job!!! lol ;D Getting that job would not only help you earn your own cash (you're 18-even though you may have difficulty getting a credit card sans a cosigner you can definetly get a debit card and open a checkings and saving account ) but would also help you avoid your dad.

ive accually already saved like 120 dollars already from allowance but thats not really that much tho lol. but i dont think a job will help since my dad told me that wen i get hormones hes gonna make me pay rent if he dont kick me out

It really isn't lmao. Here in nyc, that money would be gone before you even got out of Starbucks! But it's a start though. Also, when you start to get paid do not -and I repeat- DO NOT GO ON A CRAZY SHOPPING SPREE! I did that at first and blew my paycheck in a day buying MAC makeup that costs an arm and a leg and buying a new lamp, painting my room, buying a mini cherry blossom like tree-plant. Totally useless crap in essence. Save your money wisely.

Gahh girl why do you live in Louisiana? You should have been born here in nyc so we could go out in shop in full force. There are tons of little boutiques that have clothes that would fit us here. They're totally adorable and everything is just so fashionable and up to date. Of course, it all costs maybe a bit more than we could afford lol.

For blocking a little bit of your testosterone, you can take pure spearmint (not peppermint) herbal tea. Just one will have a mild effect, and you can take up to 6 or even 8 cups daily if you want something more substantial. I won't lie; this is nothing even close to the effects of a real anti-androgen; however it is an indicated natural treatment for hirsutism caused by an excess of androgens in women.

Also, I read that tucking, because it puts the testicles at your body's temperature, renders those much less effective at producing sperm. I don't know at all, but maybe if it does this, it also lowers the amount of testosterone they produce.

Finally, to "compete" with testosterone (if that's possible o.o) and to perhaps get tiny bits of feminisation until you get HRT, you can look into phyto-oestrogens. Be careful, as those aren't made by or for humans and as such are probably not all that healthy if taken in great amounts, but I have heard of some nice but minor effects. You could consume more soy and flax, for example (soy milk is delicious!) There is also pueraria mifica extract, a natural product with a huge amount of phyto-oestrogens in it. Some have reported good results. But be careful, as I said above.

By the way, your father is not a nice person, but I do think that parental authorisation only requires one signature... And your mother is okay with it, as I remember, right? Also, I'm not sure, but I think that depending on the country, your parents are not allowed to kick you out until you are major AND your studies are finished / you are able to earn a living by yourself... Or something like that. Maybe you could look it up.
