If this topic already exists, I apologize.  I did a search but didn't find anything.  Anyway, I haven't started my physical transition yet, but would like to begin HRT as soon as possible.  Due to my financial circumstances, it might be a while before I can afford hair removal or FFS.  I am also not yet ready to transition socially, but will be in a while.  Does anyone have any experiences or tips they would like to share about starting HRT before living full-time?  My main concern is breast growth, but I also wonder about fat redistribution and changes to my skin texture.

Grow out your facial hair (I know that's real tough for some people but if worst comes to worst it's an option)
Wear baggy clothing
Get a masculine style haircut (you can still do that even if you're growing it out)

Toxicblue has is right! It is never easy to conceal so try to think of this as your undercover assignment! That way it will be better to apply your skills to cope,deal with dressing,acting for your benefit

It is a good question, lorencz, and an issue that faces many people who desire to transition (MtF or FtM).  Not everybody can just go fulltime at the drop of a hat.

Some people choose to transition gradually.  They begin with dressing in adrogenous style, and slowly begin to include items that are more associated with the gender they desire.

You can do little things, like pierced ears, or brow thinning.  Shaving body hair helps.

There are two ways to go, as illustrated above. Either you go more masculine with everything else to compensate and then go "poof" when you want to go full-time, either you gradually do androgynous-ish things to make you feel better and make people get used/prepared to it until you come out.
