Hi everybody.. I'm Kira ..I'm 27 yo pre op TS from Ru..I'm off HRT also.
I'm not fulltime.
And I can explain why.
I live in rather small city.
My parents live in my city too.
I don't want to describe attitude to TS in my country(I think prob in EE countries mentality).
But I can help that anybody can imagine it easily..
There are laws against TS and LGBT in whole in my country.
Being TS means madness here.
What do you need to do if you decided to be TS on fulltime here?
First of all you need to go to residential psychiatric facility and be observed by a doctor at least 2 years(until doctor tryes to prove you that you 're just psyho..shizofrenic or etc) after that you 'll get(or as most person won't get) paper from psyhiatrist that you 're TS .. and concilium of doctors  can recommend(or not recommend) op..
but it doesn't means that  you can get new passport id and diploma easy(with your new name and etc).
It can take very long time.
And it's just official side of prob.
Certainly you 'll lose job.
And your parents and relatives 'll lose any respect from colegues and friends.
Also they can 'll lose job if they are public officers.
So I just wanted to describe situation in my country.
if you 're depressed ..red this topic and understand that your situ is really good in compare with it.
living just twice
