I always wondered why guys perpetuated that look. Nothing more unattractive than an ass hanging out and a mile of underwear. Besides the prison thing, that look makes your hips stand out MORE. You've got noticeable bulge hanging out on either side of where you're belting those shorts. Trust the few of us who've said something dude, it's not a good look for you or anyone for that matter.

Besides that, like the others have said, you totally pass. So stop sagging.

But you're drawing attention to your ass and hips by belting your pants around that area. You know there's such a thing as low-rise as well. You don't have to have your pants at grandpa level, but you don't have to be showing the world your ass either. And since you don't seem the type to wear tight fitting pants, it's the looser fabric of the shorts/pants that will DE-emphasize your hips.

I think it's funny as hell that we are generally such a supportive, non-judgmental community....except apparently for pant height.

I don't really care about how you wear your clothes as long as you're decent but personally I think if you are gonna wear them low it looks better when you're wearing tighter boxers so you don't get that flappy bit hanging out.  Just my personal feelings.

Just got a few photos from prom, one of them I didn't know were being taken which I think is a better judge if I pass than if I knew.

You pass the best in the first, but I also wouldn't say you pass for an age of someone who would be attending prom unless someone else invited them - you look about a year or two younger to me. In the last one, when you're next to a guy you're age, I immediately read you as female at first glance - maybe the shape and texture of your hat has something to do with it too. This is just my opinion though, but I'm also sorry if it isn't quite what you wanted to hear.

I think you pass better with the hairstyle on your profile pic. However the first pic is great and I agree with Jason about the hat. Clothing is cool

I know I look pretty young and I'm ridiculously short so it doesn't really bother me, I was just wondering what age you think people go to prom at so I can gauge better how old I look to you, a lot of places have it at 18 but we had ours at 16 so I'm not sure.  The hat was just for a laugh so that's okay if it doesn't help me pass, I'm not planning on wearing it ever again.  It's fine if I don't pass totally anyway I'm not out at school or anything.

I wanted to do that again but I was driving on my moped there so it would of got all squashed down anyway.  Got a haircut yesterday though so it's different again, was getting pretty scruffy looking if I didn't bother to straighten it (my hair is stupidly thick if it hasn't just been cut).

i know right? seriously? the way i wear my clothes is no ones business. everyone is entitled to what they feel comfortble with. for everyone's information, i'm very self conscious about wearing my pants higher than that. so yeah, the question wasnt "do you like my underware?", it was "do i pass?"

The point was you're DRAWING ATTENTION TO YOUR HIPS AND ASS. You don't want to get that or don't care, even though you made a point to mention the reason why you sag is because you're self conscious of your hips. You don't want to take that passing advice tip, fine, but those of us who have pointed it out are not "whining" about it, just trying to get you to clue in.
