Hey everyone!

So I had my chest surgery around five weeks ago now, and I'm healing up awesomely, and really super dying to start exercising my chest, arms, and abs in the hopes of turning this skinny frame into something even slightly resembling awesome manly muscles.

However, my nurse says 'NO EXERCISING FOR THREE MONTHS!!!' quite adamantly every time I ask.
Obviously I understand that I'm still healing, and trying something like a pushup would just be stupid, but I easily pick up my five kilo dog a million times a day, and if I can do that why can't I do some light weights? Nothing super intense, but anything has to be better than nothing right? My nurse still says no. T.T
So what do you guys think about the advisability of some very light exercise? It's killing me looking at this prime canvas with no pecs in sight (alright, I'll admit the left one is definitely firmer and more visible than the right. I have no idea why that might be... -shifty eyes-), so I'd very much like to start doing something, but is it really so bad? Ultimately I don't want to injure myself, so if I have to wait, I will, but I'd much rather not!
