Hi Allie,
An enormous big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's REALLY great to have someone from the other side of the rainbow. 17 years, that's absolutely awesome.
Hey and there's nothing wrong with stealth. It's the most obvious path once you've crossed the divide.
In my books it really is nobody's business to know what surgical procedures I've been through. Any medical or surgical procedures from cancer to hysterectomies these day's create some weird medieval aura about them in peoples minds. They secretively believe you have been evil or a nasty person to have such dreadful things happen to you.
After all, the surgery is only correcting a birth defect. You were a woman all along, surely? If anyone wanted to be weird to you it should have been when you were pre op. That's when the brain didn't match the body. How weird IS that? Or have I got it all wrong?
Anyhow the rest of the crew should be along soon. Some may be sporting "headaches" from a certain girls birthday, in South Oz

And Australia's Charge d'Affair in Boston should call by later, probably with a smouldering branding iron in hand. (Gees!! You've gotta be quick these days. She jumped in ahead of me. Must be out of bed early today)

I look forward to hearing of your experiences from the other side. Personally I can't wait. I just know someones going to have their gurney hi jacked at gun point soon.

However in the meantime, be safe, well and happy
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
