Hey guys, thought I'd post here since some will be able to relate.

I started T a little over six weeks ago. The changes in my mood and overall demeanor were evident within days. Its been an incredible experience. But there have no changes physically. My voice has dropped a very small bit. Which is awesome, but yeah, even though I know the changes will take time I did feel a little hummed. But last weekend I began to notice the change in my voice more. And these past two days it has been even more noticeable. Where yesterday and today my throat has been scratchy and my voice has even started to crack. I sound like I have a sore throat.... and its exhilarating lol. I seriously get this silly goofy smile on my face every time it cracks!

I was wondering if any of you who are on T experience(d) the same kind of silly thrill when noticing changes? My girlfriend and best friends tease me about how I will likely text them a picturing of my first hair chest lol.
I choose to live by choice, not by chance. To make changes, not excuses. To be motivated, not manipulated. To be useful, not used. To excel, not to compete. I choose self-esteem, not self-pity. I choose to listen to my inner voice, not the random opinion.

I choose to be me, not who society wants.

Congrats on the progress :P

I was born male and didn't have the joys of puberty you're describing, my voice changed slowly over a couple years without every 'cracking' and even now at 21 I don't have any noticeable chest hairs, just the tiny fluffy ones that you can barely see >.>

Ive been on T for a little over 5 months now, and i still get excited over the little things :) i take regular photos of my facial hair progress - started off needing a DSLR to get it to show on "film" now i can use my phone and its stupidly obvious :D there probably has been small physical changes for you already, if you have an iPhone (or i guess any smart phone that utilizes apps) you can get an app to use to take a photo of yourself everyday (i use iEveryday) after few months you'll ->-bleeped-<- bricks :) like for me theres HUGE changes only 5 months in, i already look like "the other person"s brother :)

but yes goofy smiles galore - grats on T glad you're enjoying the ride!

Thanks M->-bleeped-<-ie!

Harry, thanks so much for the suggestion! I'll be getting that app right now!

Yeah I'm 6 months in now and, although the "newness" thrill is somewhat diminished, I still take photos and videos each month - because I can no longer notice changes, it's pretty exciting comparing photos and vids and actually seeing/hearing the differences that are no longer obvious.

Grats on the changes! I'm four months now, and oh yeah, I still get excited about silly things. I noticed that I now have dark hairs on my feet and couldn't help but smile. Even better since my husband (cis) doesn't even have hair on the top of his feet.  :laugh: I even started naming my stomach hairs. First there were five, and now its up n the double digits. Facial hair has been the most exciting though. I have some dark hairs on my upper lip. I was over the moon when I noticed. My voice has been fun because I didn't really notice until my husband recorded my voice about a week ago. I heard it and was like "wait, I sound like that?? AWESOME."
