Concerns about chest hair

I'm a 20 year old biological male likely about to transition to my internal gender of female. I'm following all the required steps and taking my time. I never developed chest hair, but I'm paranoid that it will start coming in soon. In fact, I swear everyday the peach fuzz that is there gets darker and longer. I won't shave it because I heard that makes it grow, and it doesn't bother me now. Its my understanding that getting on androgen blockers will prevent body hair that hasn't sprung up yet from springing up. If that is true, do I need to start taking androgen blockers as soon as possible?
If I can't get any for awhile because of the hoops required to jump through, and by the time I finally get them I have a full chest of hair, what can I do? Will blocking my androgens cause the chest hair to go away--from what I have read it will not. I don't know, any words from those who have already been here would be appreciated.

Taking androgen blockers may or may not reduce or eliminate chest hair. It is my experience that the effect is minimal if it does happen at all, but I have enough reading behind me to know that the results of HRT on that particular masculine trait are quite variable.

In case you do grow a noticeable amount of chest hair, and it isn't reduced with anti-androgens, you can go for electrolysis to eliminate the hair permanently. If the hair is dark enough, and there's enough of it for it to be efficient, then laser might be an acceptable alternative.

You're lucky to have it come in so late; mine came in at sixteen. I wish you the best. :)

Oestradiol and anti-AAs 'tend' to decrease body hair, but seems to vary among people. As Kelly said if it is darkish go for laser, I had my sparse chest hair lasered and it was gone in a few sessions, but then I didn't have much. There is no reason for hair to start growing when you go on HRT, you shouldn't develop more than you have know.

I have a lot of body hair. I hope it slows drastically.

That hair comes back thicker is a myth. It's up to you to believe it or not, me personally i don't believe it. Must feel real bad if you were MtF and you couldn't shave...

I am hoping that my body hair will thin out so I dont have to pay for all the electrolysis cause for me that might be on the pricey side...
