I know that on my first appointment, I was a wreck. I needed that shot NOW. I had worked myself into a pretty bad state. After twenty years, I didn't think I could wait one more day, and I don't know what would have happened if I'd been told to come back later.

It sounds like you're doing a much better job of keeping yourself together, but it can't be easy.

Not easy at all, I'm just taking it one day at a time trying not to think about it and keeping myself busy so time goes quicker

I have my script! It's ready for me to pick up! eeeee! I just burst out crying on the phone to the doctor I was so happy.

Unfortunately I rang the pharmacy and they don't have it in stock right now, but they've ordered it and it will be there on Thursday. Just a few more days of waiting, but I don't mind this kind of waiting because I know it's an absolute for sure definite thing now. 3 more sleeps and I'm gonna be jabbed in the ass by a nurse  😀

Yeah apparently so Arch. I could scream. I'm not asking for much here. The amount of anguish and ridiculousness and money it's taken me to get this far is unbelievable, only for my GP's to put me at the bottom of the pile and not even bother informing me, it's infuriating.

I'm sorry man. It's such a simple (cheap, easily prescribed) hormone. Unfair that you have to wait so long. Keep us posted.
