Mr. Tentacles

I'm also quite amazed, i just wish they had an option to buy it with a hole through the shaft to add an stp.

I second this. I wouldn't trust myself to melt a hole through a $70 dick.
I'm really considering buying this, when they're in stock again.

It's actually more like $90 as you have priority shipping and handling. I think it requires special tools to go thru silicon vs silly putty or whatever stuff the Mr. Limpies et al are made.

I saw this on Laura's and thought I would pass along without identifying info. As I think there are not a lot of people on Laura's here. Not trying to be in sales, but there was a reference to the fact that they are out of stock.

It's actually kind of what I thought.

"We are estimating that the Basic Packers will become available again within the next 2 weeks. We received an enormous number of orders and simply could not keep up with demand. We are creating extra molds in order to increase supply. Have a good evening.

REELMAGIK"

This was posted two days ago. I really wish someone else would review this. Kind of strange that I have the *only* review I have ever seen (including youtube) and sites like Hudson's. Weird weird.

that's my post on Laura's :)
but yea, I hope it's soon, I want to get it before I go on vacation
any ideas on how to harness it? I think the elastic band method might decapitate it, that's what happened with my good vibes anyways. I was thinking the Tool Belt from toolshed. any thoughts/reviews on that?

Is anyone comfortable with posting a vid to youtube? Even just holding the packer so we can see how it looks compared to your actual skin tone, and squishing it or something. I'm intrigued by this product, and I've integrated my cheapo packer so much into my sense of self, that I feel I would benefit even more from something more realistic. I just don't want to drop a lot of money before I know more.

Oh, ok, I don't recall people's names over there and here, but I guess it's the same one (as is mine). I don't think I would use a typical harness (like an O-ring) on this one.I think a typical harness, well most of the weight is in the balls/scrotum so it won't work from a balance sort of reason.  I believe the sock type arrangement (either homemade or store bought), special underwear (like tranzwear) etc. or adapting your's would work best. Just for trying to help others out here I tried pinning the fly in men's briefs and sticking the penis part in. I think this works really well. I don't own any harnesses, so I couldn't test this out. But there may be some kind it would work in. The Tool Belt would be really nice I think because it would hold the entire arrangement, if it fit that is. If you don't like the silicon next to you (it could get hot) might be a good plan.

I don't really want to post to youtube. I have a channel but I am worried about this sort of thing. AFAIK, I am the only person who has done a review at all anywhere. I think this is odd as I think they were kind of flying off the shelves (well or whatever would be the term for how ReelMagik sends things. I have no idea why that is. Haven't seen negative or positive ones.

I could try making a video and putting it on photobucket or something? Does it allow this?
If so, I could control who saw it. Or just post it here.

More info:
I do have a very lengthy review. https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,121696.0.html
The color: It is not going to be like one of those pricey RM ones. This is not matched to your skin or anything. It is a real color though (I got the Caucasian one). The color is good but it is light. I think looks like inside of my forearm pretty much. (Genitals are generally darker.) I don't think any of the less expensive ones have such a good color.

It is soft but does not pull or squish like a Mr. Packy, which to me is like a marshmallow. This has a bit more substance to it. The balls are the same amt of squish.

One thing is that I don't think the feel is as nice as say the GV Sailor. This is because the surface is very textured. It looks really like the pictures they posted. (I think it looks better than the LJ, at least by the photos.) But it's not too good to be true or anything. It isn't going to fool anybody. I do not regret spending the money for it. It isn't perfect by any means.
But it's a good product.

Photobucket does allow you to upload videos and keep them private so only people with the link can view them, if you are comfortable with that I would be very grateful. Do what you feel is best though.

That said, for the price and realism it probably is worth buying blind, I think I've made up my mind that I'll eventually be getting it. I do like RM's pricier stuff too but I don't like how they adhere to the skin. While that is probably the best way to pack if it is available that is just not happening for me. Don't want to have to shave.

I am pretty hung up on packer colors. Caucasian tones are always way too light. But if this one at least sort of matches up with my own skin that would be great. Now I just have to decide on if I'd order the softer or harder one.

i'd love you to make a vid too, if you're comfortable that is.  For the price that is is, I'm not expecting to fool anyone, I am mostly getting to replace the GV i have now and to see if the shape is good for me. I'd rather spend 90 or so bucks and not like it then spend the 600 or so to find it doesnt work for me lol

Best? I don't know. Probably for the price. I don't have all of them-- just Mr. Limpy and the Sailor. I like the feel of the Sailor with the inside core. But there are other ways the RM is better-- silicon;  lots of detail, realism, etc.  Silicon is a big deal for me, as the other stuff makes me break out.  I don't have other ones like Mr. Right or Peecock. So it's hard to do an exhaustive review.

The colors: well yeah it's light. You might think about the Asian one. I actually did that with the Sailor. It isn't going to fool anyone regardless. I think it's the best color of the two I have.

The pliableness-- compared with video of the $$$ 4.5 inch one. It is very similar. The difference is in that there is skin on the expensive one.

I think you'll have to experiment re: packing. I don't think it would be too hard.

Yeah I'll see re: a video. I could try this week. It could be just of the product anyway.

I'm hoping someone buys the thing and posts another danged review. LOL!
They should be paying me. But I assure you they are not. :)

BTW, RS you are a good looking dude!!

I don't need to "fool" anyone with a packer, just myself ;) I actually really like my Mr. Limpy, even though it's way too pale and squishy. Like I said I've integrated it fairly well into my overall body image, so anything even a little more sophisticated should be awesome.

If I buy it I will definitely post my own review and most likely a video to go along with it but I don't know how soon that will happen.

This is me as well.  I really want the prosthetic, but before I put down nearly $1000, I'd like to see if I'm comfortable with the size/weight of it first.  Not looking to "fool" anyone, just want to be happy with myself.

Yeah I didn't figure anyone really had to fool anybody. But wanted to make that clear. I wasn't happy with the other inexpensive options because of breaking out. But otherwise probably would have been okay with the Sailor.

@tvc15: Glad you'd do a review. I am feeling a bit of responsibility to the trans community which I would like to "share".

@Adio: You'd get a nice idea re: size and weight since it's made from the same mold. It's a good test.  (It might be a few tens of an ounce difference.)

I ordered one today as well. I am very excited to receive it. Do you think the simple harness would work with this? I am not worried about the weight of it being too heavy because I have a quite heavy packer I make do with this method.  Although I am worried if the elastic would cut into the packer. I once had the Sailor I believe it was, and the simple harness nearly severed the packer. I was quite disappointed and it only cost $20 not $90. What do you all think?
  •

RagingShadow

i had the same thing happen to my sailer packer :(
I'm going to try the Tool Belt harness from tool shed toys but until then I have some spandex type underwear that works

I've heard that the sailor does deteriorate quickly in a simple harness. I will say, that I've had the Mr. Limpy since I think January, and have worn it in an elastic harness almost nonstop since then, and it's still good as new. So, not all packers have this problem. I'd be nervous to use a more expensive packer in that harness unless I knew it would be able to withstand the wear, but I guess that's just something we'll have to experiment with.

  •

jae_m

I gather that I will just have to experiment with it.  To those who have received theirs already.... how do you wear it? Do you use a harness?  I would really like to be able to use a harness because my girlfriend and I fool around sometimes with a soft packer.

I am it, afaik. I have packed with it once. I used boxer briefs. I posted on "Tool Belt Harness" about this and now it is on this page. It's a silly post that I made at 3 AM, but I describe how I did it.  Anyway it worked ok. The problem with regular harnesses is that the RM is a bit heavy for that sort of thing.

It would be interesting if you could actually do anything with this (aside from pack). The shape is a bit different with the scrotum. OTOH, it is flexible. Humans are very creative on this subject.

I'll be interested when OTHER people give reviews on this. :)
