I went to Z.  I think his work equals Dr O and maybe exceeds it.  He turned my very male face into a very female face that is never misread.  FFS is not cheap but I felt it was the central component to my gender transition, more so than SRS.  Just because someone wrote the book on a set of procedures doesn't mean that they're the best.  Surgeons come along, learn his techniques, then move on and improve upon them.  Don't just look at reputation, look at what the surgeon has done and then decide if they can deliver what you want.  Z was very honest with me about what I could and could not accomplish with FFS.

No I am not overlooking that. I am only stating what I would do and refuting that assertion that all FFS surgeons are "the same."

Dr Z does operates on his patients in a clinic where he can hide his mistakes. Before I had my FFS with Dr O, I did almost 100 hours of research and read hundreds of opinions. Dr O is not only the best, he is larger than life. He is a legend. That is not to say that great results cannot be obtained by someone else. For instance, there are many patients who say Dr. Pichet did them right.

its obvious dr pichet is a hack , thats silly citing him , theres many other good ffs surgeons besides Dr O
