it seems that facial hair growth should take a while, but i am already growing it 4 days after starting T, i shaved my face 3 days ago and when i look closely in the mirror i can see hairs growing back, they are very dark and thick, so i don't think it's peach fuzz, ( it usually takes a couple weeks for peach fuzz to grow back)
i also have hair growing on the back of my hands and further up my arms

can this actually happen this fast or am i a freak?

Not sure how much of this is science. I noticed when I went on Oestrogen that my leg and body hair growth dropped very quickly - too quickly for the hormone effect.
I also recall some years ago when suffering severs depression, as soon as I went on medication I felt better in hours. It would take at least to weeks for the medication to actually do anything biochemically.

I also suffered from high cholesterol and high blood pressure. I was on medical treatment for years and it kept them stable but didn't drop. Within two weeks of gong on HRT my BP and Cholesterol were normal.

The only thing we could put this down to was a placebo effect. We are so happy to get a treatment for what we have been struggling with, that the brain just goes Whowee lets party.

In your case it is to release the hidden man features you have been wishing for.

thanks Cindy i know i'm a freak but that's for a totally different reason
and no i have been banned from growing beard by mum although i may grow some scruff and see how much i can get away with before she tries to shave me in my sleep

Trust me, as someone who is still male, I can attest to rapid hair growth as a result of testosterone. Not just faster, but thicker. You'll also develop rougher skin, so while cellulite won't be a problem as much as it once was for you, shaving will become a nuisance. You're a victim of testosterone; the only freaky thing about you is that you're mouse picture.
