So I've been trying to lose weight lately. I want to lose 10 or 20lbs and plan on stopping. This way I'll have a little body fat left over for hormones to "work their magic." I've been on hrt for 16months That way I'll be like 20 lbs away from my goal weight of 130. I'm 5'5 18 and very small feminine frame (thanks mom!) so my doctor agrees this is a healthy weight.
I am currently eating 1500 calories a day and do some light walking. Will my body go into starvation mode and my boobs stop developing? My diet is very healthy. My question is am I cutting out too many calories? I am only cutting down by 300 and some days I cheat a little haha. I am afraid if I lose weight that my boobs won't develop. (I am currently a 32B cup) Is a rate of .5-1lb a week of weight loss safe while on hrt?
Also I'm unsure if I need to add progesterone to my current hrt regimen. My doctor said she doesn't really recommend it, but will perscribe it if I ask. I took birth control at 13 as a do it yourself hrt. I was a *ITCH.. as my friends tell me. Are people currently on it? Do you notice good results? Any bad reactions like hair loss, infections, cancer? How beneficial would it be to me?
P.S. Does anyone take finasteride in ADDITION to spironolactone? I'm wondering about the effects of them together?
Thanks
