Why? They give us a new lease on life. They correct what has been broken for decades. They hold our lives in their hands, at least for a bit.

Did you have a poor experience with your own surgeon? I understand that we usually can only go through this srs experience once, ie I can't go now to dr chet, have another go, and then compare. But there are ways to filter information, which is what i tried to do. And when Dr Chet said (as I recall) I would have x inches of depth and one clitoris, and dr suporn guaranteed x + 3 or so inches and two sensate clitoral organs (I'm at a comfortable 7 inches with a 32mm dilator), there was no reason not to deify him.  >:-)

For god sake 2 clitoris? Are you dreaming? They both give you 1 clitoris and very sensitive area between the clitoris urethra and the entrance of the vagina. Dr Ch also gives lifetime free corrections if needed, it is just that his reconstructive surgery knowledge is fantastic and there is no need for corrections. Minimum depth he delivers is 6". Also Dr Ch surgery is totally painless, the dilation is "normal" and the entire process is smooth. I don't think that is the case with Dr Suporn.

There's no need to go back and forth on who's the better surgeon. I think it's pretty clear that both are competent surgeons. Just share your own personal experiences. That will be helpful with my research  :) By the way swan, I'm going to look into Dr. Chettawut. Thanks.

Hi Jen :)
I just wanted to congratulate you on finding your surgeon. I'm excited for you! I'm sure everything will turn out well and you'll look back and be super happy. I hope things in your corner of the world are making you smile, a lot! Friends, Meghan :)

Well, sorry for the friction, ladies. But in my defense, this surgery has been a dream come true, so if i am a little ebullient, forgive me? Surely all the girls on here felt the same after their surgery, didn't you? (Amazed, thrilled, happy... If you did not, how come?) And for those who might not yet have had their surgery, you can't really hassle me for deifying anyone until you've done it!

Anyway, I am coming up on three weeks post op, and still ecstatic about the cosmetics, depth, sensation, service, postop care... but time will tell.

Blessings,

D

I'm not gonna make it worse than it is: my Gyno, who works with vaginas of both natal and trans women, was very impressed and did not feel I needed any alterations (although she couldn't fathom what I'd need so much depth for), so I'm pretty confident my vulva is still within normal range, and it is not by any means ugly. She also commented on the very nice "handiwork" on the vaginal canal itself, very impressed by his craftsmanship. What bothers me is what someone on this forum refered to as "The Suporn Gape". He doesn't close the vagina on the bottom because of the need for dynamic dilation, and I am pretty sure I was told that he could create a fourchette after the one year mark, but now someone posted on here that they went back for that and were refused? The people going to him need to know this.

No need for me to break a lance for Dr Suporn... I had my SRS with Dr Sanguan Kunaporn.
Now, here is the deal... the lack of an initially created fourchette has a REASON. The reason is FEAR of lack of proper blood circulation if this part of the op is taken 'too far'. It happens even when taking caution about it. I know one woman that had this very issue when I had my SRS then.
It is MOSTLY for this reason that not ALL that can be done, may be done in one fell swoop.
The 'revision' is actually and mostly about closing up the area about the upper clit area AND bringing down the labia minora quite some further toward the vaginal introitus - this 'closing' that gap that was mentioned.
It is NOT only a Dr Suporn issue, it is an SRS issue - in my experience.

how were your results with dr. kunaporn ? are you satisfied ? im currently looking for srs surgeons.

I'm satisfied to put it in short. However it is not so simple a question to answer – as we only have one 'item' and no other to compare it with - other than looks of course.

I had labiaplasty just 4 1/2 weeks ago and 10 month post-SRS, so once again there is some swelling that will take time to subside.

The pre-labiaplasty result was good, but as mentioned in my earlier post it ALSO had the same 'issue' with gaping at the introitus.
I think it is actually unavoidable - but not everyone may agree (despite not being surgeons...)...

Depth is once again 4 1/2" plus, also this ever so much depends from WHERE it is measured, from perineum or clit-area (front) which makes about a 1" difference too.

does the depth cause you any problems with sexual partners ? did you fly back to Thailand for the revision ? if so, does he do that stuff for free ? how do you feel about the results after the revision ? thank you for answering questions, im really considering going with him or dr. chettawut for surgery.

I have no sexual male partner - I still have a daily dildo/vibrator session. 42mm dia. and 7" long.
I do recall that a 'normal' male length (my own!) was less in width and length.

In fact the full width of one's (male) palm, including thumb, and then 1/2" spare is my situation. Basically I would quite comfortably fit into my new arrangement. If this makes sense?

Note: More depth i.e. going past the peritoneal reflection requires the surgeon to penetrate into the peritoneum, the visceral cavity. Some surgeons offer this e.g. Dr Suporn, Dr Sanguan will not, neither Dr Chettawut. This also due to their own protocols – as I understand.

I had decided to go back to Phuket Interl. Aesthetic Centre (PIAC) for my FFS procedure with Dr Rushapol, and had a free check-up of my 10 month past SRS.
Dr Sanguan suggested a minor labiaplasty/correction. Bringing labia closer to introitus basically. But he also said it was not a necessity i.e. it was up to me. It cost US$1.5k and was done during my FFS and BA procedure.

I'm still somewhat puffy after revision, and I'm told to wait one month and then revisit my results if OK, or if I would want a further revision...
