i googled things but how are they supposed to fit? i prefer boxers but for packing purposes... my boxer briefs fit well except they are low on my hips. also your fav brand?

I prefer boxers in general for the fit and feel, thou with a packer I need something additional to hold the packer in place.  I use either a harness or tight briefs seems to switch off between the two for no real reason that I know.

Have you tried boxer-briefs? I grew up wearing briefs (ack!) and I like boxers better but have found boxer-briefs to be a sort of best of both worlds. I think they might be supportive enough to hold a packer okay but not be so constrictive like briefs.

My husband and I both wear box briefs. If you get some that fit right, they hold a packer just fine. I agree with Dalebert - they are the best of both worlds, but thats just me. The husband always wore boxers growing up, but he switched to boxer briefs because they offer more support while working out. He likes 'em and from when I compare how we fit in them, my packer matches him so its a plus for pants that are a little tighter.

As for how boxers are supposed to sit - mine just sit on my hips or just under. But I typically either wear underwear designed for packing or just boy-short style because I'm cheap and haven't replaced all my underwear. If I had to chose a favorite brand of boxers I would probably say Jockey - the cotton ones are really soft.

I wear boxer briefs 99% of the time and occasionally boxers. When I wear boxer briefs the elastic usually sits right on my hip bone or slightly above (but then, I really hate the feel of low rising/low cut underwear, so its just a personal thing for me. But there are some boxer briefs that are made to sit lower). Most boxer briefs will hold a packer without fear of it sliding out.

I prefer Fruit of the Loom.

I'm a fan of the basic Hane's tagless boxer briefs. Very soft and comfy. Nothing scratchy like tags. A little elbow room for your junk or packer.

im a little dude so right now i have boys large shaun white boxer briefs from target but idk, i think they fit too low. id like to try some boys Hanes but no money right now

I've actually experimented around and found I like them a bit big (not huge). I started out with a small but my hips are really way too big for this (and I didn't think I had huge hips).
I really like the covered waist band Fruit of the Looms. I got them by accident and now I want more of them. The covered waist band is so much more comfortable.

They have them at Walmart, Target, etc. I think for about $13 for a pack of 4.

I really dislike the "tighty whities".

I like classic briefs (tighty whities) best for packing because everyhing stays in place. Otherwise I prefer longer athletic trunks from American eagle for just everyday wear. Also I only pack with the packing jock from toolshedtoys.com. It's comfortable and keeps my junk in place. I'm actually saving up to get a couple more because it gets dirty and I don't do laundry often so I can't pack constantly without feeling gross lol. Once I got the toolshedtoys jock I realized how comfortable I feel packing because it stays in place so it doesn't feel awkward.

Good point KyleXX, everything feel better down there when it stays in place.  I am not comfortable if I can feel things moving about, get the idea that it may somehow start to fall down my pant leg.

Boxer briefs are the best imo. Comfy and make my packer feel more secure. I like having my packer closer to my body too and boxerbriefs give that snugness - typically.

I'm in love with these boxerbriefs from Express (clothing store) that my dad got me, but I'm sure they're kinda prices. Hanes is the runner up though, they're comfy and affordable.

I wear hanes tagless boxer briefs, but I dont leave my packer loose in there. Even the tightest pair I own wont hold a packer in there all day. They strech out. I use a harness thats just made out of 2 pieces of elastic. Boxer briefs help hold it in place though.

Honestly, I feel like Hanes covered waist band/tagless boxer briefs are a lot flimsier than a lot of other cheap brands. I used to wear them and I find they get kind of "shapeless" pretty fast, which means you can't leave a packer loose in there. I find that Fruit of Loom is better for that because they tend to maintain their shape more over a longer period of time, and so packers tend to stay in there a lot easier with no worries about them slipping out.

Actually, that's generally something I've noticed with tagless/covered waist band vs. regular waist band brands in general...covered waist band seems to turn into this swimming mass of awkward fitting material very quickly...
