I can't stop crying. My twin sister [20 years old] passed away last night. She was born with a lot of medical issues and last night she was coughing really bad and my parents got up and asked her if she was okay. She replied with "yes"....and then stood up to go to the kitchen when she fell over unconscious on the floor. She then went into a seizure and I saw blood pouring out of her mouth and nose.  She was rushed to the ER where they pronounced her dead.

Now it's the next day and I can't eat, sleep, or do anything but cry.

I just don't know what to do...my entire family is having a hard time. I can't get those images out of my head

I know that "I'm sorry" wont make anything better but for what it's worth I am

the same situation happen to My beautiful baby cousin 2 days ago who was 17
she had a history of health issues as well and not too long after she had been coughing really bad I found her and it was too late

you have to Stay strong love
Celebrate her Life as she would want you to and know that everything is going to be okay
The passed on are never lost so long as you hold them close in your heart

 I'm deeply sorry. I teared up immediately upon reading the title... it really starts to sting if I think about my own sister.

I can only say to cry your heart out for her... it's healthy, so long as you remember she wouldn't have wanted you to be unhappy - at least not for too long after something like this.

You're in my prayers.

 

Cry and rage and howl your pain out. Do not hold it in. Embrace this pain until it bleeds out and you feel hollow. Then reach out for your loved ones and family and comence the healing process. Lean on each other for support and love. Your entire family is going to be in pain also and they will need healing and closure also.

There are no words of consolation for the loss of such a close family member. To loose your twin is a stab in the heart most us us can never understand.

Heal well.

You need to focus on the good memories.  All of you.  That is, no doubt, what your sister would have wanted.  Grieve, and let time heal the wounds.

Also my best wishes for you to go forward from here... it is, it will be tough. I feel how much you will mis your twin sis... like a part has been ripped from you.

Now you have to start healing... and also what "Cynthiale" said, cry it out, howl, anything that will help. Also accept that there HAS TO be some time of mourning.

Voices, it's all been said before me. I feel your excruciating sadness.

Cry until it's all out of you.     Your sister would have wanted that.

Grieve, and once it's over ..... encase yourself in the love your sister would have wanted you to be happy in.

Remember all the good and positive aspects of her. Her memory should spur you to greater heights in time.

I am so, so sorry. A huge part of your heart has been ripped out, of course you are crying and everything. Your grief is normal, and made worse by the fact she is your twin, which is a unique relationship.

Know that people are thinking of you.

That must be devastating. I can't possibly put myself in your shoes right now and fully imagine how you must feel. I lost a sister and it was one of the most difficult times of my life. I would just repeat what others have said about giving yourself time to mourn. Allow yourself to feel all those feelings and express them to those who are close to you. It's a crucial step before you can move on with your life, just as I'm sure your sister would want for you.
