This has probably been asked before, but it still baffles me a bit.
I heard that some people on HRT go through a complete change in sexual orientation- like a transgirl who only liked guys pre-transition, and then even less than a year after starting HRT is a full lesbian. Is there a reason this happens? I've heard the explanation that in general, women have more fluid sexualities, and mens are more rigid, but I don't know if that's true. I haven't read too many transmen stories, but I also did read that some of them experienced it too, which would conclude that any change in hormones could do it. Or perhaps the change is natural and would have occured regardless (since some cisgender people go through sexuality changes as well, but not quite as much- e.g. someone gay turns bi, someone straight turns slightly bi, etc.).
Plenty of transgender people are straight though (assuming they were considered "gay" pre-transition). So it only does this to certain people?
