I'm a bit worried about my forearms and if they will lean out like the rest of my body. I've been on HRT now for 2 1/2 months and I've started to see huge loss of muscle mass. It doesn't seem like I'm losing any though in my forearms. I don't do any exercise at all except cross country run.

Am I just getting ahead of myself and should not worry?

Yes you are and not you shouldn't.

Uh... yeah they'll become flabby, don't worry lol!

Give it another 8 months, you'll wish you had more muscle!

What she and she said. This Popeye is turning into an Olive Oyl. I think I better start working out soon.

I'm glad you said that. My forarms are driving me crazy. I was worried that they may not get smaller. My job is starting to lose its apeal to me. I always turn my rist and have really cut muscle because of it. I thought about getting a job where less work is being done with forarms.

That'd be a good idea... I really lost muscle after I got fired. Ever since then I've been pretty idle (except at school). HRT is much more effective at starving your muscles if you don't use them!

Thanks for bringing this up.

I am a bit worried about mine too, and shoulders uuuuggh! They are still very much too broad and muscular :(.

I guess that I am just too impatient after just a little over 4 months.

I'm just over the four month mark and I noticed that all of my arm has slimmed down.  Last night I was comparing pics from November to now and couldn't believe the difference in my forearms.  Also you'll notice that it gets harder to open things when they start shrinking.  I actually had to have a guy friend of mine open a bottle a few days ago and it kinda caught me off guard. So yes, everything seems to lean out.

Yeeesss, they sure will. More than you might like after some time... 2 years...

I'm now doing Ashtanga Yoga and the girls (younger and lighter, hum) beat the crap out of me for power to weight ratio. I used to do windsurfing, hello!

Check this out and you'll see what I mean:

I'm NO WHERE NEAR their expertise... nowhere near, though my female teacher does it ALL, hum.

Yes! JARS! for decades one of the few consolations for me of dealing with a male embodiment was that I could open ANY jar (also lift cars without a jack). Now I really struggle with a lot of jars and have to do all of the little tricks I used to laugh at. I cajole the lid free now. I used to just grab it (even after two or three guys had tried and given up) and just will it open with a quick twist of the wrist. Now my wrist is much freer in the up and down, and not so strong in the right to left. Please pickles, I need you to open, please?
