Hey everyone hows it going ?  :) My name is Dean better known as DJ, I here cause I have been questioning my gender.
I am trans ftm I grew up in Canada/New Brunswick my whole life. From the time even before I hit puberty I knew, that I felt like a boy but my mother try to tell me different thinking I was just a tomboy who would grew out of everything but didn't as I ended up here. And came to this site after coming out about a year ago to my sister/mom when I turned 18 in school, I am now 19 years old out of high school...I am per-T and I wanted to find a place where I could share my journey with you all an get to know you guys/girls better as well as you get to know me :).

Hi and welcome.  There are quite a few Canadians here, so you might even make a few friends from close to home.
Being told by others what you are thinking and feeling is a pain, my mother still tries and I am 58. ;)
If you feel a need to have a rant or blow off steam, feel free, we have all been there.
You have a big family now, who will not judge you.
Is "Corner Gas" still on over there? I liked it.

Cheers,
Karen.

Hi Dean, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8054 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hi DJ ,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in and start talking.

Keep up the good job you are doing about finding the real you. You'll be pleasantly surprised when you do.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
