The Weight by Korean director Jeon Kyu-Hwan has won the sixth annual Queer Lion prize at the 69th annual Venice Film Festival.

The three-person jury announced the winner on Friday. Seven films competed for the prize which recognizes films with queer elements playing at the festival.
