You can't link directly to images on fanpop, it jumps to its own display site (that's why it won't display in-line here). So here's a similar image from elsewhere:

Yup, that is her, my heart skips a beat...we would have made a lovely couple! I can still remember the Last Kiss...and that was many years ago.

That is not a great picture of her BTW.

I don't know about hottest, as I don't really keep track of that many famous MTF people, but I always had a soft spot for Kayo Satou:

Partially it's because she's super-pretty, but more than that, I admire her strength of character. She makes her living as a model, which is a challenging world even without the stigma of being transgender, and outside of her modelling she's famous as a tournament level player of the videogame series Street Fighter. The professional videogame circuit isn't exactly known for being tolerant and open-minded, being as dominated by teenage boys as it is, and Kayo gets a whole lot of flak from both Japanese players and Western ones. To continue to put yourself out there and do something you love despite being surrounded by a good number of people who don't appreciate or accept you is a very admirable quality to me, and even though I have all of zero interest in professional gaming, I always make the effort to cheer her on. :) I'm also really interested to read the book she released detailing her story, though apparently it doubles as a semi-nude photo book, and... um... that's not exactly my sort of thing. :'D

My vote will have to go to the starter of this thread, which I doubt is a surprise to anyone. ;)

I base it on pretty much three things, from the most superficial to the most important:

1) She actually is, on a physical level, really beautiful. Before we spoke, I always thought she looked nice in her pictures, but she looks even nicer in "real time." The first time I saw her on webcam, I noticed her great features, eyes, and smile, as well as her demeanour. I could barely look her in the eyes for a while, or I'd turn bright red, and for two weeks I couldn't eat because my stomach was full of butterflies. I lost 15 lbs. :P I think that is a good sign she is pretty hot.

2) She is enjoyable to be around. She is funny (disturbingly quick-witted, too). She makes me laugh more than anyone else can, sometimes with jokes, sometimes with the videos and stuff she finds, and sometimes with her quirks. She is intelligent and can hold a good, thoughtful discussion on a lot of topics. She likes an awesome variety of music and movies. She has a lot of feminine qualities that I like, but she also has a tomboy edge that I find really attractive. All these things make her layered and unique, which adds hotness points for sure.

3) As time passed, the butterflies stopped being constant (though they come often enough still :P), because I was getting to know her better as a person, too. She may not be as confident in herself as she should be, or even as confident as she seems on the outside, but she has a silent, unspoken strength about her. And at the end of the day, confidence can be broken, it can be faked, and it can be possessed by those who did nothing to deserve it. But inner strength is a sign of a good character, which one has to earn, and it can carry a person through times that sheer confidence can't. She is also very kind, thoughtful, and giving, almost to a fault. She truly cares about those she lets into her life, and wants and encourages the best in them. In everything she does, she gives all she has, not for recognition or ego, but because she wants to know she has done it right simply for its own sake. These are qualities I have valued in others, and strived to achieve in my own life, for as long as I can remember. These things are the most important to me, and they are the reasons I am happy to have her as a friend. People like her make this world a better place, and in my books, that is pretty damn hot.

:embarrassed: god, what a long post.

Words cannot describe how adorable this is. :D

LOL mine too. I am glad we have expanded the meaning of hot away from a hetero-normative "male gaze" objectification to a more expansive feminist lens: comprising more than the physical to define "hot."

BTW I want to second Noey's self-nomination for being the "hottest" here. Although I only know her through her "letters" I would venture to say she epitomizes "hotness" the way I define it.

Thank you UCBerkeleyPostop  ^_^  .   Surely it's your own beauty which allows you to see such beauty in others.   :icon_flower:

Okay, I write this with trepidation -- it will no doubt earn me enemies on this wonderful web site.

I mean no disrespect, but I hate the question.  Perhaps it's a generational thing, maybe I'm just way too old to be cool and with it, but:  it seems to me that concentrating so much on who's the hottest, prettiest, sexiest, blah, blah, blah, is missing a crucial point.  What's most important is WHO we are as human beings, HOW we act towards others, etc., etc.  Like we don't feel enough pressure already?!  Now we must also submit to beauty contests?!

Don't be angry at me, please.  It's just that I've spent six decades fighting against a feeling of being the ugliest person in the world (even when I was a man), and now having to be compared with other MtoF folks on the basis of "hottest" and "prettiest" (superficial characteristics at best, in my humble opinion) -- and for such discussions to be had by those who should be MOST empathetic with folks like me, i.e., my kindred spirits....  well, it all feels a bit painful and sort of cheap.

Hey no fair, I also nominate myself!!!!
Dammit, now I'm gonna have to fight you for it! ;)

Part of my transition plan is to spend less time worrying about others problems and spend more time taking care of my own wants and needs.  As such I will selfishly nominate Future Me 'cause I'm gonna be awesome! >:-)

Well... you are wrong because I have the most votes so I win ^_^ .

Awe... this is just another light-hearted thread.  You won't gain any enemies that easily.

Basing "hotness" purely on who is the "prettiest"--especially since "beauty" as we know it is a hetero-normative, male construct--is oppressive, particularly oppressive toward many non-cisgender women who are just trying to assimilate, not be beauty queens. And it can be even more oppressive toward older non-cis women who realistically had no opportunity to transition in their youth.

That is why I--and others too--expanded the definition of "hotness."

I like your use of the dictionary ;)

Looks like the self-nominated competition is heating up.  We may have to settle this the old fashioned way - mud wrestling!  In an attempt to placate Lavenderblooz we will do it for charity.  With this image in my head I believe I just expanded the definition of 'hotness'. ;D ;D ;D

Well I must admit that there certainly are some drop-dead knockouts you've picked, But I have not cast my vote yet. While I am still amazed and honored by Caleb's words, I really don't think I belong on this list. But, that's my own insecurities playing up and Caleb's choice.

The most beautiful MtF is a global entity, who knows no social, racial or economical boundary. She has a deep inner strength that comes from within. She is someone who is true to herself even when she has doubts or others question her. And that's what I admire most and consider to be pretty hot. No pretentiousness, no B.S. She is just trying to live her life.

She is every MtF here and out there.
