I received a call today from my clinic that they were going to increase my Spiro dosage & that they were faxing over my perscript today. But, I don't get my perscriptions refilled every month when I run out, I get all my refills at once so I am stocked up & I still have like 3 months worth of my current Spiro left. I am going to pick up my new one tomorrow but I don't know if I should use up the Spiro I have now or begin to take the higher dosage?  ???

If it doesn't work out that way (like, troll-dose changed by one third, or one half and the pill is hard to cut, or it's a pill you can't cut), you can also ask the pharmacy. I did that for another medication. [mods: not related to HRT at all, so no wrath, 'kay?]

I was taking 30 mg of Vyvanse (attention deficit disorder med) daily, and the doctor prescribed 40 mg, but I had just gotten my month's supply a week before. So I asked at the pharmacy, and they gave me 23 pills of 10 mg, that I took with my remaining 30 mg ones, and 7 40 mg ones.

Depends on the medication, of course, but sometimes, there's a variety of dosages available to allow this.

PS: You have a... fax?!
