I'm having trouble on deciding which one of these names to change my name to. I like both but I can obviously only choose one. If I did William, I would use Liam for short. My family calls me Kenny hence Kenneth for the middle name. Thanks for voting!

I dont think this should be to a vote as it should all be your desion, and its okay if it takes time.
when your alone by yourself try use both names for you. or writte letters like some diary like stuff ending it with a name.

you might also have to ask yourself alot of question about the names ex:
is the name usual/unusual
is the name close to my bird name
if the name got more than 1 pronouce which would I prefer
is the name to be mistaken by someone ells

all those,

after a time I think you will get stucked more with one name.
I was stucked in 2 names, and it was very easy for me to decide because legally I couldnt have one of them,
however I ended up using the name I got now way more than the other I had in mind, so it also started to feel more natural.

I like William Kenneth.  My youngest son's name is William.  Good Strong name.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

I personally really like Liam, but I do think William flows better with the second name and if you're going to go by Liam for short anyway, you kind of get the best of both with that one.

You should legally make your name William and then just tell people you go by Liam. It has more of a "name since birth" vibe, ya know?

Yeah I think I'm feeling William and then just Liam for short

Yep. You get the best of both worlds with that one. I agree with Kyle that it has a more 'legit' feel if you will. Most guys called Liam will be Williams. And if you ever decide you're tired of Liam, you've got a zillion nicknames to choose from with William.

And William is nice. It's professional, classic. The kind of name that you wear instead of it wearing you. There are no preconceptions of the name. You define it. You can never go wrong with a classic men's name.

External forces caused me to vote for Liam. You can't turn on the radio here in Boston without hearing cheesy ads for William & Kenneths fine jewelry and pawn shop.

I like William, but I'm biased.  My granddad was called William.
Living in interesting times since 1985.

There's your problem.  Inside the box thinking.

Combine them all.

William "Liam" Kenneth

So, you're dad and brother are both named William and you want to change your name to William?  I don't think this is a good idea.  I would just go with Liam.  It's a fine name and can stand on its own and not just as a nickname.  Liam Kenneth sounds excellent to me.

I posted without reading his latest...this does seem an odd name choice, now that I know. I wonder how the father and brother feel about the proposed name.

Why not Kenneth William or Kenneth Liam?

My father goes by the name Bill and my brother goes by his middle name which is Cody. I know that having technically 3 Williams in the family would be somewhat crazy. Thanks for all of your opinions so far!

looks like William Kenneth is getting more votes than Liam Kenneth..thanks everyone for voting!

Ah, this makes a little more sense.

Yeah I agree...you can always use "Liam" as a nickname for William. I mean in the end it is your choice.
