Seriously baffled concerning my hair

I'm a bit torn between astonishment and pure overwhelming joy lately. See, i was tired of my (dyed) black hair and attempted to bleach it again. Of course that didn't quite work, and i couldn't get past yellow-ish orange without risking temporary baldness. So i thought "whatever" and slapped on some auburn/ginger/whatever as a workaround, which looks nice and i like it, but I initially thought it'd make undecided people lean towards female again.
BUT, nope. Great series of triumphs, with any demographic.
A girl flirted and talked to me for ten minutes at a bus stop, even though i talked a lot (with my voice! even) which was really awesome... sadly she was a tad young and, oh wait, I'm not even into girls, but still^^
Then i went to get a haircut and the new guy there didn't think for a moment, again, we were talking a lot and stuff, whoa.
Also a lot of customers and generally older people talk to me A LOT (obviously i radiate some trustworthy, approachable presence when I'm cheerful and not spreading death-threat glances^^)

So, the point? I'm not entirely sure. But new hair + whatever happened to my voice works just glorious.
