Would you use a Star Trek type transporter, if it is as reliable as shown on TV?

I think I would be like Dr. McCoy and be skeptical and worried my insides would end up outside. But I think I would get comfortable with it. I would have to try it at least once.

Yes, With a modification that means when I am put together again at the other side I come out as a cis female.
