Hi all!
I haven't connected here for a while, but I feel very fortunate to have found this site! You all have been so supportive! I have come a long way in the past few months. I am living my life as a woman 24/7 now. I socially transitioned completely . I am out to everyone in my life now. I am very happy to report that everyone has been very supportive. I have surrounded myself with quality people, it would seem! I have discovered what is truly important in life is that life is short, and in the end, the best that you can offer is love.
I'm telling you this now because I am on the verge of a big step in my journey. Tomorrow I am starting HRT. I feel that I am ready. I have a wonderful support system now. I am confident enough in my gender identity, that I will be able to face the challenges wth strength and dignity.
I have this site to thank for this. I came here not able to move forward, and everyone's kindness and knowledge helped me figure out which way was forward. I will always consider Susan's Place as my first home as Camille.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

That's such a nice positive post to read. Having positive and supportive people in your corner is so important. All the best for starting HRT - it's exciting times.
AMAB and married to AFAB.
I am gender fluid but live primarily in male mode. My wife knows about my gender identity struggles and we are navigating how to come out and be more public about me being trans.
