Have you ate Shepard's Pie or Cottage Pie?  Did you like it?

Cottage Pie is made with ground beef, I think Shepard's Pie I think is made with lamb.

Both have a meat layer with vegetable and potatoes on top, cooked in the oven.

Many times. Also made both. There are several regional variations on both. I'm a Lancastrian and we sometimes put cheese in the mashed potato  topping. We also like pickled red cabbage with them.

I grew up knowing cottage pie as shepard's pie. It wasn't until fairly recently that I learned the difference. I've had both and actual shepards pie has a unique taste for me but both are good.

Yeah Cottage pie for the win! Worcester sauce, cheese and breadcrumbs on top of the mash for me! Proper comfort food!

Easy to make, cheap and filling. It's a bit of a British staple. If you haven't tried it, do.

Sounds good to me, I may give it a try one day!

I've had what I assume is an American version of cottage pie. I enjoyed it greatly.

It actually works well with Sweet Potato or swede mash! No need to miss out!
