Hello I am Monica Scott. My birth name is Christopher. I was three helping put laundry away. As I grabbed a pair of my step mothers panties I had this almost electric sensation and in my mind I thought. I should be a girl. I hated my male parts. They felt gross and wrong.  I was groomed at the age of three by a babysitter my drug addicted drunk and violent reaction at the site of me. The only kindness anyone had shown me was this male. I came out to three girls in grade and they loved it. They all passed down their old clothes. Life has tried to take my life many times. I beg for death and then I remember I'm trans and I feel warm and calm. I really need friends and support. I would love to make friends with all of you.

Hi Monica

My name is Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

Thank you for trusting us with such a personal and painful part of your life.  I am very sorry for the fear, harm and loneliness you have had to carry.  You deserved safety, kindness and care when you were little and you deserve those things now.

I am glad you are here.  The way you describe remembering that you are trans and feeling warmth and calm sounds like a very important part of your strength.  You are not wrong for needing friends, support and understanding.  Many of us know what it feels like to need a place where we can be seen as ourselves.

Please stay close to support right now, especially when thoughts of death feel strong.  You do not have to face those moments alone.  There are people who will listen and help you through the next minute, the next hour and the next day.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Welcome - you are in a safe space here.
Born XX and married to XY.
I am gender fluid but live primarily in male mode. My wife knows about my gender identity struggles and we are navigating how to come out and be more public about me being trans.

I would think most of us would ChrissE! Sadly life is not like that.

I am already a female. I would like to wake up with my body aligned with my self-perception. After all, that is the very definition of gender dysphoria.
