The recommendation you mentioned in your first post was absolutely correct. It was an extremely valuable one at that. Susan's is a place where one can navigate the complexities of transition safely if that is your desire. It is never too late to begin your journey, like my friend Victoria who just recently had surgery and I was there to support them.
For me as you allude to, I was vary young when I changed my life around and it was one of the best things in my life that I ever did and I have had peace for a very long time.
Yes, only reveal what you want no matter what it is. This is a place of learning and teaching and if you tell your story others will be able to learn from it and of course you will have a lot reading to do as well.
Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads. I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members.
In addition members of Susan's will more than likely discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.
