Medicine spoon stp
June 23, 2011, 08:01:33 PM
So I decided I wanted to try using the medicine spoon as an stp. I went out and bought a cheap one to try with. The only thing is I'm not sure how to cut the other end off. Anybody have any suggestions?

I heated up a pocket knife(a four inch one) and poked the tip through the bottom to make a small hole, then worked on slowly making it larger by using pressure and spinning it. That way there was no sharp edges.

Or you could sorta saw it off with a kitchen knife and use a lighter on the edges to smooth them out

I used a pair scissors and some sand paper to smooth out the edges.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

I just used a regular pair of scissors. yeah, it had a rough edge, but that edge didn't touch my skin.
or you could melt it like the person above said.

Thanks for the answers guys. I got one that is made of super thick plastic so I can't exactly cut through it. I improvised by melting the bottom and poking a hole through it. That seems to work for now as I've used it a few times.
I will say though that I am surprised by how easy it is to use. I thought it would be much harder but there is also the possibility that I got lucky. Either way, thanks for the help guys.
