Lawyers for the defendant  on Friday filed motions to reconsider and for a new trial regarding the estate of a deceased Wharton fire captain.

Nikki Araguz has a new legal team, with Katine & Nechman L.L.P. as the main local counsel, and Haynes & Boone the lead attorneys on the appeal.
