Gay rights proponents gathered in Nepal this weekend to call for their inclusion in a new constitution being drafted for the country, the Associated Press reports.

The Associated Press reports that LGBT people have felt more comfortable being open about their sexuality in the cities than in rural areas like Narayanghat, so the event marked a milestone in acceptance.
