No, not for
that! (At least not yet...

)
Two weeks ago, I started seeing a wonderful therapist. Predictably, she said it's a bit soon for hormones. In the meantime, she understands how
immensely antidepressants would help. That's why she set me up with her endocrinologist.
Problem is, I know the medication like the back of my hand (I'm only off it because I couldn't afford it). If all I did was pick up that script, I feel like I'd be wasting our time. So I have two questions for all of you:
- What was your first endo appointment like?
- Is there anything I can do to lay the groundwork for when I do start HRT?
For example, one thing I'm thinking of now is asking for a blood test. HRT is months in the future, though. Would it make sense to do one this early? Could it "get it out of the way" for later, or would I be wasting money on a test that will go "stale" by the time HRT starts?
