Felix

Hi. I may have introduced myself once before, but I know that when I registered I was just coming out, and was very unsure of myself.

I've been going by a different name (in some circles) for awhile, and my thoughts and opinions are much less lost than they once were.

So hi again. My name is Felix, I am FTM and a single mother (I still go by "mom"), and I live in Oregon. I am not on hormones yet, and I'm honestly not sure how I'll ever afford top surgery. I do bind and try to pass as often as possible.

I used to be headed for a career in science, but my daughter is special needs and I have no family support, so now I'm just an unemployed college dropout. We scrape out a decent existence, but only just.

I do a lot of hiking in the woods, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. I love scrabble and npr.

Life is really hard, and I look forward to talking to other trans people.

Hey Felix! I'm pretty new also, but I've been reading these forums for a while and i can tell you that you will definitely find people in your similar situation and lots of support and advice to get  through the rough times =)
