South Korean court rules in favor of sex change plaintiff

A South Korean court on Tuesday ruled in favor of a former man who applied to be listed as a woman in official records after undergoing a sex change operation.

The Seoul Southern District Court said the person identified only as "A" developed a strong female identity after the operation and her sex change caused society no harm.
