Following a meeting with MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon in November 2011, the Residence Halls Association, or RHA, plans to talk with more university officials in the coming months to hash out a plan to institute gender-neutral housing at MSU.

RHA President Sarah Pomeroy met with Simon in November 2011 about the chance of moving forward with the policy, which would allow students in residence halls to live with members of the opposite sex.

Pomeroy said ideally if the policy were implemented, it would begin in fall 2013, but dates still are tentative.
