OK boys and girls.  Time to anty up your hair care hints and tricks.

Quick Mayonnaise Hair Conditioner
Here's a simpler hair conditioner using mayonnaise. Dampen your hair. Apply a thick layer of real mayonnaise to your hair, from roots to ends. Then, comb the mayonnaise through your hair with a wide-toothed comb. Cover hair with a plastic bag.   Leave the mayonnaise on your hair for twenty minutes, then shampoo.

Beer Rinse Hair Conditioner
If you want hair that is more manageable, as well as having more body, try this hair conditioner. After your shampoo, rinse your hair in a bottle of flat, warm beer. Rinse thoroughly, making sure you get rid of all of the beer smell.

Hot Olive Oil Hair Treatment
One cup of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) warmed in a hot water bath.  The warmer the better (not super hot).  Apply to hair root to tip.  Then, comb the mayonnaise through your hair with a wide-toothed comb.  Cover with a plastic bag for twenty minutes, then shampoo.

Last tips.

Don't wash your hair every day.  Modern shampoos strip the natural oils from your hair, leaving it dry and brittle.  Once a week is fine, longer if you can stand to go longer.  Rinsing your hair with cool or luke-warm water is fine.  And use a leave-in conditioner daily.

And switch out your shampoos when you do wash it.  A clarifying shampoo every third washing will remove the silicones from the other shampoos.

And don't use hot water when you do shampoo.  It dries out the hair and makes it prone to breakage.  Rinse with cool water.  Comb with a wide tooth comb, always.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
