Jambalaya (with chicken breast, hot sausage, and shrimp).

Also, I love my alligator can holder. Found him for 50 cent the other day at Goodwill.  :D

Well, right now I'm eating Kraft mac and cheese with bacon, hamburger, extra cheese, Tabasco sauce, and A1 sauce. With a bowl of sliced strawberries and a glass of chocolate soymilk.

I sauteed a finely chopped onion in half a stick of butter and some olive oil, when the onion had a bit of brown color, I added a crushed clove of garlic and about a teaspoon of red pepper flakes, and a pinch of Italian seasoning. (I don't measure anything when I cook.) That cooked for one minute more, you don't want the garlic to burn, it gets bitter. Then I added five asparagus spears including The Whopper from yesterday, chopped, and cooked a couple minutes until the asparagus was bright green. Meanwhile, mini farfale pasta was boiling. I poured the asparagus butter sauce over the pasta, and arranged the asparagus tips for presentation purposes, thusly:

Wait, you don't like my cooking, my foraging, or the 116 pound girl eating half a box of pasta and pile of asparagus?

It just kind of scared me, no meat and that asparagus stuff trying to hide in the middle of it.  :o

I do meatless meals once in a while, especially when the garden is producing. The big issue now is remembering I ate asparagus, so I don't think I have kidney failure in the morning!

I was busy all day and don't feel like cooking. My pile of chili and masaman I am saving for work (going back FT on Wednesday), so I am just going to make myself a protein shake and then maybe have some ice cream.  ;D

Actually, I did not eat dinner tonight, because I had a big lunch.  But for the family I made a mixed green salad, with seared U10 scallops (no more than 10 to a pound) in grapeseed oil, sesame oil, and lemon juice, and some crisp-microwaved bacon for a garnish.  I also made a lo-fat, lo-cholesterol Louie dressing.  Easy breezy.

I don't think I'll be eating at Jamie's anytime soon, too much green stuff.
