More recent opinions on Likereal prosthetics?

Anyone who purchased a likereal prosthetic within the last year or so and willing to share their experiences? The youtube review is kinda dated and the new models look somewhat different imo

I've been looking for recent reviews, as well. I really like the look of their smaller, uncircumcised packers.  I think they'd work nicely with my own STP.   I haven't found anything much more recent than this, though:

Kind of a catch 22, I suppose. There are no reviews out there because I guess not many people own them, and not many people own them because there are no reviews...

Such a lot of money, it's a huge gamble in case it doesn't work. If only they'd do a promotional giveaway for reviewers... I'd do fifty!

Try youtube. I saw a couple.
I thought the consensus was that the STP was totally and completely laughable and just added the expense. My understanding is that you can put another STP like a medicine spoon on any LR. Mihgt not be true. I hadn't read anything re: as a play devise. Otherwise it isn't bad for the price, but that's if you haven't bought the expensive play or STP options.

Yeah I was looking for a more recent review since they have changed their STP-system completely and seem to have changed the design as well. I emailed with their customer service and got some very helpful replies and decided to order one after all. Will hopefully be able to give a quick report of my first impression by next week (I live in Germany, so shipping takes only 2-4 days).

My Reelmagik basic packer tore within a day, so it couldn't be much worse than that. (On the bright side, I was able to adhere it to my body and insert a flex rod....which would be great if only it were more durable...)

I'm surprised that the RM packer ripped that quickly...mine has been through a bit and is still intact.  How did it tear...were you trying to push the flex rod through it?

How did you manage to adhere a RM basic packer to your body without a tab?

For the guys with the RM packer, how do you manage to go to the bathroom? did you make your own STP? or how does that work? I'm just curious because im interested in possibly purchasing the RM

Mine is holding up pretty well. Got a little tear on the underside under the shaft. Not too bad. Doesn't seem to effect the use of it or anything. I can't imagine putting anything in it or attaching it there is no tab.

It tore on the underside where balls and shaft are connected. I used a piece of thin wire and then pushed the flex rod in, which worked fairly well (the same way it does with cyberskin packers), and this wasn't what caused the tearing. It basically tore because i positioned the shaft pointing upwards in my boxerbriefs while waiting for the glue to stick.
I adhered it by spreading adhesive on the flat back of the prosthesis... the basic prosthetic almost has like a tiny tab.

Re attaching an RM basic packer (not prosthetic):
I wouldn't recommend this as I think RM says not to. I don't think it is strong enough, gauging from small tears in the product I have noticed. I think that I recall Raging Shadow had a small tear in his as well (thinking I read another review where someone talked about a tear.) I'm not saying that if you don't attach this thing it is perfect, as it isn't. Perhaps there are reasons from a materials science pov.

Also I don't think I would recommend putting a wire inside it like this. It sounds dicey with something that costs basically $100. OTOH if you know what you are doing perhaps the gods of phalli will smile in your favor.   You might even have a future in prosthetics!

I think for the cost and so on it is about as realistic as possible. But it isn't a prosthesis.

Well I put the flex rod in there after i noticed it tearing apart on the underside. I decided since it's already broken I might as well give this a try. I didn't say I'd recommend it to anyone, then again I basically ordered it because I didn't want to go ahead and order the 4.5 inch prosthetic right away with chances of wasting a lot more money. Which is also why I adhered it - I wanted to see what it looks and feels like to actually attach it to my body. It helped me figure out that i have certain issues with this particular design, so I won't order the RM prosthetic, even though I do expect their prosthetic to be much more durable.

Emil, might take a lot of knowledge of materials science to do this right. The cheapo materials in the Mr. Limpy enable all of us to play around easily-- I put an STP in there though I didn't like it. Silicone is tricky being not heatable in the usual way and so on.

I think it's fine--if you go into it with the knowledge that it is a bit outside their parameters. I know others who got it to figure out what they'd think of the 4.5. I like it but there is someone I am working with locally who is working on a prosthetic, so I cancelled my order. (Not sure if he is dealing outside the area though.)

Yeah I was surprised by how much the basic packer actually felt like cyberskin. I had modified cyberskin packers in the past, adding flex rods by poking a hole through the shaft with a piece of wire, then (stretching that same hole) pushing a flex rod in this hole and pulling the wire back out of the shaft afterwards. I did that without heating the wire though. The same method worked, for me, in the very same way with the RM basic packer. But I would probably have shied away from the experiment if it hadn't already been torn at the base.

What I don't like about the basic packer, apart from the fact that it shouldn't tear so easily, is the shape of the balls. They seem oddly balanced and move in a way that doesn't feel "natural" to me when I'm walking around. Of course that's just personal preference.

I don't know what would cause it, but probably should not have called it a tear. Not sure what to call it though. I doubt it will cause any more damage unless I pull on it. It is probably a cm. long. I think I will cut the little edge off so there is nothing to pull on.
I've heard others describe these scratches or marks or whatever. Not sure as they seem to come up in different places. I would still recommend it but to be careful with it.

I don't wear it in a harness so I really don't know. I take it to bed and take it out sometimes so perhaps one of the cats caught it in their claws. Just guessing as I don't know. It looks like that could have happened.
