Well, it's official...I'm not insane

I passed my Ordination Psychiatric Examination with flying colors today.

When they informed me that I was sane (of course I already knew this lol) the first thing that popped in my mind was "I wonder if this examination was a requirement for every Christian denomination...how many pastors would fail it."

Certainly got me thinking. Thankfully, most mainline denominations require psychiatric examinations before ordination.

I had my regular psychiatric exam a couple of days ago and I too am still sane. I think we are both doing well.

Its from a team of Psychiatrists who are part of a larger network of Psychiatrists who sets what their standard of sanity based on DSM IV.

So its not subjective based on one psych or therapist

I know you journey has been hard and that you have made many sacrifices to be where you are, so this is a good Christmas present for a wonderful Lady

Maybe Douglas Adams was onto something with his 6 book trilogy of the Hitchhikers Guide. He found the answer very quickly, but had a devil of a job finding the question.

And yes.. I will agree that they are not the type of people that others gloat about. Students are just glad when its done. It isn't a test people look forward to. My psychiatric test I had to take was nothing compared to this test.
