My name is Kaden.
Okay, I have my first appointment to the endo next month.
I want to know what exactly to expect.
What they do, show you, tests, and so on.
Don't leave out the grimy details.
I, also want to know about types such as the shots, gels and pills? Is there more then that?
To give you a better perspective I do not see a gynecologist.
What is normally the thing for a first visit?
Do they show you how to do the shots and then leave you be after that? Besides the check-ups that follow after.
Thank you for your help.
I'm nothing. I'm everything. I'm simple and complicated. I need things to be explained to me because I am very curious and always wanting to learn about everything.

Hi Kaden,

Congratualtions on the appointment.

First of all it's a bit of meet and greet. For them to get to know you. From this understanding they may ask a few medical questions about your past. Chicken pox etc. Any allergies, the list is nearly endless. They may do a short examination just to check you over. They'll more than likely do your BP (blood pressure)

They may either start a low dose HRT and give you a lab request for blood tests which they'll review at your next appt. Or they'll just start you on a T blocker. Can go a myrid of ways. There is no hard and fast manual on this journey.

In the Land of Oz we have pills, gel, patch, shots and implants. They'll probably go the way of a pill or patch just to see how your body handles it. Shots and implants come later when they have a better idea of how you'll handle them.

Nothing to worry about. Relax and enjoy the experience and just answer the questions as best as possible. There are no right or wrong answers.

Enjoy the fun

Huggs
Catherine

Depending on your age you might only start with just T blockers in either shot or pill form, this usually just to test how your kidneys and liver can take, then a few months later a low dose of estrogen.

Obviously if your doctor feels your ready for everything with out checking your blood etc then well your lucky if no complications occur :P

And you will do check ups every 6 months for the first few years, accompanied with blood tests :P
Awww no my little kitten gif site is gone :( sad.
