Kids from way back in elementary school are telling me over this facebook thing how it's amazing that I'm embracing my true self and all. I changed the name on my account, and just put my birth name as an alt so people know who it is. Every time I see the new messages on it, I grin within and without. Things are looking up even in the shadow of family.
