OK Hun -- I am 4 years and a month .5 on E at a dose that most people would consider ineffective, and have had exactly 3 hormone level tests in all that time. What I have had plenty of is tests for liver function, pancreatic function, cholesterol levels, antibody presence tests for a short ton of cancer items, and potassium and vitamin D3 levels . Why not more Hormone tests? My mental balance, my bodily changes and other stuff is fine, and I am receiving nothing toxic from the Hormones. I often wonder if our doctors really do us a favor in giving us some lab test results, because the lab results measure the levels in our blood stream, which is different than the ones working in our actual organs. My endo at one point told me she hoped my blood hormone levels were low, she knew how much she was putting in me, and could get some idea of what I was peeing out, but had no test at all for the working molecules. The hormones themselves are not doing the work, they are merely the local supervisor that tells body cells to get busy.
As said above, let the numbers alone, they are the doctor's problem and if the stuff is not killing you go along for the ride, at your time period on the mones, it is very early to know what your body will do with them whether or not you make a "magic number" for any of the stuff. Four years, and life is good, I am calm, I have female anatomy created by the hormones that already had a cancer flag go up which resulted in a breast biopsy, oh yes and for 7 months here SRS had helped immensley.
Don't let the numbers stress you. They don't mean what we sometimes want them to.
