Just found a very informative slideshow that talks about many aspects of Hormone replacement therapy for MTF and FTM.  Not sure if it has been posted in the past, so forgive me if it has.

Also found it interesting - but for me personally the item on page 66 about using estrogen by itself is not so. I started at age 65 on low dose, increased moderately 6 months later and after 12 months total use of estrogen alone, T levels went from 12.4nmol/L down to 4nmol/L.
