"Lori Allison MacNeil": transgender / transsexual fraud

http://tsroadmap.com/info/lori-allison-macneil/lori-allison-macneil.html

For nearly ten years, a man posing as a transgender woman has been soliciting revealing photos and personal information from real transgender people, under the guise of being a supportive member of the community. The names he uses include:

    "Lori MacNeil"
    "Lori A. MacNeil"
    "Lori Allison MacNeil"
    mtnflower1975

Do not under any circumstances share confidential information or photos with this man posing as "Lori."

As of 2013, much of his current activity is on Facebook, but he has also been active on MySpace and various trans forums since at least 2004 under this fake name/identity.

He has assumed the identities of unsuspecting young women by stealing their photos and claiming they are images of his made-up persona "Lori."

Over the years, many notable trans women have pointed out that "Lori" is a man in his 50s with a breast fetish and an interest in surgical procedures. His story has changed many times, particularly the medical history he concocted for "Lori."

It is scary the lengths some people will go to for evil ends.

Thanks for the warning Natasha! It is people like these that make our lives so hard for others to take seriously. Thanks again!  :)

Thanks, Natasha for the warning.  There are many out there who deceive.  Since that I am a senior, I am a target of all kinds of fraud.  I have been getting a lot of phone calls and emails with phony claims, even though I'm on the "do not call" list.  Whom to trust these days?

That's part of the reason you often see more than one moderator on line at a time.  It is also part of the reason we encourage people to report suspicious posts or PMs.

And to help maintain a safe environment, we have post ranks before new people gain access to things like PMs.

It all about being able to keep trolls, like the subject of the article, from hurting people here.

I remember that one from the glory days of Yahoo 360. Had a lot of followers that pretty much ate up whatever they threw out. A shame that people have to lead people on just to get their jollies.

More like a creepy >-bleeped-<.   Natural consequence of the porn obsessed/addicted I think.

This is supposedly a big problem on Craigs List. Picture "collectors" troll the personals "stealing" pictures people post and send each other.
