What do you need to have for anti-androgens?

I'm wondering if you need to wait and stuff like for E or if you could get it proscribed by a doctor relatively easy? If not what do you need to do for it? In texas.

I'm pretty sure you need to have E prescribed since you would have serious health issues taking it alone. Like bone loss to start. You can probably get a DHT blocker though to help prevent Male Pattern Hair loss until you can get E.
Avodart (Dutasteride) is the most potent.

I needed to get it cleared with my therapist to start any sort of HRT, including AA's. I don't think there are any shortcuts. This is a lengthy project. But once I was cleared to work with my endo, she was cool with things. I just don't know if it's something an Endo can prescribe without approval. My guess though is that if all you want is AA's, or at least to start with, you shouldn't have a problem with an Endo prescribing them without E.

Just find an endo or GP that will prescribe on the informed consent model. There are lists of these professionals available on the web. Give them a call and explain your situation, make sure they take your insurance, and make an appointment.
Many prescribe AAs for a while before starting E. I am not sure of the merits of this practice, but have heard of quite a few cases of it. AFAIK, most prescribe them together.

Well i have.. Complications on the doing anything front, in the form of my mother, and I'm tired of waiting while T messes up my body further.

Actually, You can start AAs way long before E - yes, there are possible osteoparosis complications, but for that to develop You would have to be on AAs (only) for years.
