Hello there,

I've been working my @ss off (literally) for a few months to get a less manly and more womanly shape while I was getting everything lined up to start HRT. Got a few results am happy with. Now that I am ready to go, I started to wonder, will these muscles just fade away? Do they transform into fat with time? I guess my goal is to keep having a healthy lifestyle and have a body sort of matching my gender identity. I figured building some mass before starting would help for what is to follow, but now that I think about it I do not know why I was thinking that exactly. Thanks for the input!

I think because of the absense of testosterone the body isnt able to maintain muscle mass it will become less with time ,,,i dont know if it actually turns into fat...

the other day I read something very disturbing and sad, that by the end of puberty males have 150% more muscle than females  :(((((

Your muscles will slowly degrade into fat and this fat is later distributed more into a feminine pattern provided you eat the same diet as before transition. Estrogen makes your body store fat so women typically need to eat less than men do.
