I've seen that happen with a Japanese martial arts aficionado.  He thought he was getting something like "Dragon Warrior", but it really said "Dumb Gai-jin". 

What made me happy today? 

I get leftover Lebanese food for lunch because we weren't complete pigs last night.

What made me happy today?  1st therapy appointment went well, scheduled one for next week 🙂 And looking forward to seeing my friend Lil' at group tonight to tell her how it went 🙂

A reply to a heavily heated text from my brother that I sent to my sister in law (his wife), last night. While she is still trying to claim some moral high ground he is now actually thinking about what happened and that it does take two people to argue.

After being attacked by management yesterday for something they didn't do I vented and calmed down.

Today I could see some of the others were still visibly shaken by the ordeal as they did not deal with the experience as well as I did as I went on the offensive.
I took two of them aside and we had a good chat as they opened up about it. I then told them what happened to me and it put a smile on their face. I was glad I could make them feel a bit better than before and know someone stood up to them.

Interestingly everyone but myself received a HR assistance card to call. Says something about my response to management. Perhaps my manager got the card because he looked shaken as I made him look foolish while trying to attack me.

Lesson 1, never attack me without proper facts  unless you want to be destroyed. 🙂

I also had two people in the team today ask to work with me. Management says I am not a people person. Perhaps they should ask.

My team likes me, my client loves me and the job I do for them, the overseas team loves me for the job I did training them. Oh everyone likes me but management.  I think it's pretty obvious that the problem is with management.

Time for a new job. 🙁

Sounds all too familiar! Your tactics make me wonder if you read the book "Verbal Judo," it is an excellent read about how to refocus the force of someone's verbal attack back against them to defeat them at their own game.

Ok this was last night but I was wayyyyyy to tired when I got home to think straight.

"Finding" $300 at work because some dolt (raises hand sheepishly). Wrote a 4 instead of a 1 on their balance sheet. Took me well over half an hour of counting the safe, looking at security cameras, checking my sheet and the bosses from earlier this morning, plus the previous days sheet. All because I can't WRITE DOWN the right amount I've put back in the safe.

I have a three day break starting from next Wednesday. It can not come soon enough

Biking into work this morning, helmet on, sunglasses and riding a "Cannondale Bad Boy", got signalled to stop by a construction worker while a truck was manoeuvring, he then said "I'm sorry lady but he's going to be backing up in a second", I just smiled 🙂

I had one of those 'everything is just off' days and then tonight I went to my supportgroup. 😀 instant relaxation and relief when I arrived there, I could just feel the stress melt of me. And then at the end of the night only a couple of us were around anymore and one of the leaders (the transman) came and hugged for a very long time. I didn't realise how much that was welcome 🙂 I'm so much lighter and happier now 😀

Went shopping today. Bought a couple tops and some panties. Now which one should I wear to therapy next week is what I have to decide.  (The tops that is)

Also met some old friends, a couple of retired marines, ooh rah!
